Islam in Australia

Just to be clear, I have no problem with anyone of any national, cultural or religious background coming to live in Australia because it's better than where they're from. Accepting all people is how Australia grew as a nation, and I accept all people who want to move here and become part of this great country. But...

I have a significant problem when some of these people want their culture or their religion to become a dominant system within Australia, and they will support or fight for this change so that Australia becomes more like the country they left behind.

I know this site is about fighting for men's rights, but it's also about how political correctness is becoming an increasing problem. Political correctness that supports extremist religions is something I have a problem with too.

I am disturbed by the number of immigrants that want to support the growth of Islamic communities and Sharia law within Australia, not to mention who support the growth of a global Islamic state, which is also supported by a bullshit politically correct attitude of 'don't upset the Muslims'.

The reason they came here was allegedly to escape the violent oppression of the Muslim countries they escaped from, but now they want to turn Australia into the same violent and oppressive Islamic state? It's not acceptable.

'But not all Muslims support this.'

I know, but I don't see any of them marching in the streets to protest against Islamic violence in support of the Australian way of life. They're all silent. So maybe all Muslims do support this, but there's just a few who are vocal about it.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to say that if you don't like this country, then go back to the country you came from. Our support of multiculturalism does not include supporting the extreme and violent views of Muslims that wants to kill everyone who are not Muslims.

'Gasp! You're racist!'

If you think that, then you're an idiot. Yes, really. Islam is a religion, not a race, and one which accepts all races. And opposing Islamic violence in our country is not racist. If you try to turn opposition of Islamic violence into an argument about racism, it just shows that you support Muslim violence in Australia, which makes you part of the problem.

You don't have to like what I say, and you're always welcome to go somewhere else. I'm not going to be silenced, and I think it's time more Australians supported Australia instead of supporting those who would follow a violent religion that wants to change Australia into its image and kill everyone who isn't Muslim.
