Accepting all people is how Australia grew as a nation, and I accept all people who want to move here and become part of this great country. But...

Innocent men suffer while false accusers remain protected

Former All Blacks rugby player was arrested by Welsh police in front of media cameras, all because a woman claimed he had touched her at a nightclub a month earlier. "Oh no, a man touched a woman - arrest that fucker!" Months later police dropped all charges because there wasn't enough evidence. Meanwhile the woman remains anonymous and protected while his career and reputation is in ruins.

These presumptions that women never lie and are always victims and men are always at fault or abusers needs to stop.

I was just watching Sunday Night on tv tonight, and it was doing a story on Reclaim Australia, a group that formed because of the Islamic terrorism that occurred in Sydney last year at Lindt Cafe, and a small group of Australians decided to start a group and a movement to 'make Australia safer for their children'.

A woman in Queensland, Australia, was killed by her partner. She was one of 3 women killed by their partners in QLD over the past couple of weeks. It's tragic.

The language of oppression

No matter what I do to move on or avoid it or stop thinking about social injustice and equality, something new happens and I’m drawn back to one simple truth – I have a burning passion about concepts of equality relating specifically to men’s rights. Why is this, I hear you ask. Well, it’s because I see an oppression of men occurring in our society today that few people are talking about. I see it in the language being used, which creates social perspectives and policies that favour women at the expense of men, and I see that too many people have their heads in the sand about it, so it inspires me to stand up and say something.

The inconsistencies of feminist demands

I’m an egalitarian, which means I believe in equality. It’s also why I’m very much an anti-feminist, because there’s nothing equal about what they want, and every time they open their mouths all that comes out is lies to further their idiot agenda, and abuse towards anyone that disagrees with them, women included. Not to mention their attempts to make it a crime simply to criticise feminism.

The epidemic of violence against women

There's lots of media reports lately about how so many women are dying at men's hands, and the 'epidemic' of violence against women, etc. It's certainly tragic that women are dying at the hands of men, but there's an even bigger tragedy that no one is talking about.

Since when do men enjoy freedom from violence?

In Melbourne recently, a 17 year old girl was murdered as she walked alone in a park around 7pm in the evening. Apparently it was some random attack by someone who was 'known to the police'. It makes me sad that violent or mentally ill people who are known to the police are allowed to wander the streets to potentially commit more violence against people.

Being polite to women is sexist

Yesterday I read a lead paragraph that was part of a larger article about a study done in the UK (I think) about a term called 'benevolent sexism'. I didn't read the entire article, as I didn't have time or interest, but I've seen discussions on it before. Today I thought I'd write about it.
